Commission B Gears Up to Smoothen Development of ITF Sunter

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Commission B says they are ready to smoothen the Sunter Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF) construction project that will be executed by PT Jakarta Solusi Lestari (JSL), a subsidiary of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro).

Commission B Chairman, Ismail revealed that ITF Sunter is a pilot project for the construction of an integrated waste processing facility in the city. This project has spent a budget of Rp 517 billion from from Regional Investment (PMD) of PT Jakpro.
"This is a pilot project. We must ensure that this is fully backed up. PT Jakpro must assist PT JSL in completing this project," he expressed, Monday (2/6).
Commission B: LRT is Profitable Business OpportunityHe ensured that his party would oversee the stages of the ITF development being carried out by PT JSL in a bid to achieve perfect results. PT Jakpro was also asked to strictly control the construction of this project.
"We will both oversee this project until it is successful, thus it is guarded. I don't know exactly what the strategy is like, but make sure it is well controlled," he asserted.
PT Jakpro President Director, Iwan Takwin explained so far the ITF Sunter development stage had reached the clarification phase from the project bidders.
"So, we really need to explore it, as ITF Sunter has challenges related to land conditions that affect the design. We are now studying the technical aspects of design development," he stated.
